Paste JSON below. Beautify it, minify it, sort its keys โ€” and if it is broken, get the exact line and column of the problem instead of a useless "invalid" shrug.

The same JSON as a collapsible tree โ€” click any object or array to fold it. Types are labelled so strings, numbers, booleans and nulls never blur together.

Your JSON structure will appear here.

Happy with this JSON? Give it a name and keep it in your snippet library:

๐Ÿ“– The four JSON errors everyone makes

Trailing comma{"a": 1,} โ€” JSON allows no comma after the last item. The error position points at the } after it.
Single quotes{'a': 1} is JavaScript, not JSON. Keys and strings must use double quotes.
Unquoted keys{a: 1} โ€” every key must be a quoted string, even simple ones.
CommentsJSON has no // comments. If you need notes, add a "_comment" key instead.

Rule of thumb: when a validator gives you a position, count to that character โ€” the real mistake is usually one character before it: the missing quote, comma or bracket the parser was expecting when it gave up.
